Paintskin is a term I conceived of in the early 1980’s that best described the processes I had developed and was utilizing in my art work. I manipulate fluid paint on glass creating films of textured colors. I then use those dried sheets of paint to make my art. I use inlays, overlays, wrappings and castings as methods to develop my visual creations.
The Paintskin Continuum is a chronological survey of the Paintskin art work I have created since the 1980’s using my developed processes.
